Even students of the same country must converse in Japanese. I believe that this really encourages students to go through trial and error in order to express themselves beyond what they are used to.

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The BBQ event was pretty interesting. It was a fun time to bond with classmates while cooking varies foods together. I had fun and it will always be a good memory.

Why did you select this program?

I selected this program because after looking through the KCP website, I realized that this program had a lot to offer to those seeking greater achievements. I believed that it would allow me to wholisticly improve my Japanese because of its environment that focuses on helping the students to reach higher personal achievements and language proficiency levels.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The most interesting aspects of the program was that inside the classroom students and teachers are only allowed to use Japanese. Even students of the same country must converse in Japanese. I believe that this really encourages students to go through trial and error in order to express themselves beyond what they are used to. I really enjoyed this aspect of class. I don't have any comments about anything not being interesting.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

The cultur classes allowed students to learn about cultural aspects of Japan in a carefully organized and engaging manner.
