Drill practices and textbook work were very helpful.

Demarcus from 2014

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The Kamakura trip and the Akihabara trip were the most interesting. I enjoy seeing the rural parts of Japan and I enjoy the anime/manga parts of Japan.

Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?

English Support class is a huge help. Without it, I would have been very confused when learning Japanese.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

Learning sentence structures and using them in class was very useful and interesting. There are no least interesting thing for me.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

Drill practices and textbook work were very helpful. Also pair work and group work were helpful for me since I don`t have friends to practice my Japanese on.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

Learning about Japanese history was the most valuable thing I learned. Having conversation and Japanese and English enabled me to understand things more.

Testimonials

KCP’s Summer (short) term program fit my personal schedule very well. It was also the most professional and affordable program that I could find. It also included a cultural aspect to its education program that I appreciated.
