Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I really enjoyed the overnight trip. I never had a chance to travel outside of the city before. It was the best mini trip of my life. Being able to see Mt. Fuji was a magical experience!

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I was surprised by how helpful the teachers were. They were more than willing to give extra help and that really helped me get more out of the program.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found that extra worksheets and group work were the most helpful

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

The overnight trip really helped me see a more quiet part of Japan. It showed me there was more to Japan than just the rush of the city, but it also gave me a new appreciation of the convenience of the city.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

Be prepared to really work hard. KCP takes a lot of dedication and time. If your going for just a good time KCP isn't for you. KCP will vastly improve your Japabese but it requires a lot of your time, motivation, and dedication. Be prepared.

Any other comments or suggestions?

Suzuki Sensei was the most helpful caring teacher I ever had. If you ever need any help ask her. She will always try her best to help you in anyway.

Testimonials

KCP is a really great program and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about studying Japanese in Tokyo. Although intense the sense of achievement by the end of just two and a half months is huge.
